PlayStation®Move To Be Released Fall 2010

Woah! The counter-attack from PlayStation is here!!! Wii will soon have a opponent in the motion censor business for game consoles. Sony have posted on their website that they will be releasing motion-sensing game controller platform for PlayStation 3.

The controller on the left is the move sub-controller and on the right is the motion sensor controller. According to PlayStation.com, the motion detection will be possible with the motion sensor camera that has already been released. According to Sony, the controllers will be using Bluetooth 2.0 to connect to the PlayStation console Fall 2010 will be the official sale date for the controllers. Sony are currently working on developing games that will be controller by the new technology. Although Wii have already developed similar controllers, the PlayStation®Move is a step forward for Sony in attempts to compete in the game console market, that is constantly demanding new innovative technologies.

As you can see, the new move from PlayStation will certainly win them large sales, and I am eager to see how accurate the controllers will be. I have tried the Wii controllers and I have to point out that they are very accurate and easy to control. I assume PlayStation will surely provide the same accuracy and easiness compared to Wii, if not even better. According to rumors, the price for a bundle of the 2 controllers + motion camera will be less than a $100.
